hole 16 - 965/780/415 ft. - par 5
hole 16 tees from path
by golf hole 7's tee sign. this par 5 is reachable with two huge shots,
but not without risk. the pond off the tee is only 220 ft. to carry, so
sky-rollers are possible. short or left of path is OB. short OB tee
shots will tee 3 from the drop zone at the white tee. a pond runs down the right side of the fairway
to catch crushed turn-overs and errant rollers. approach shots with a bit
too much zest can find the pond behind the basket.
hole 17 - 625/390/390 ft. - par 4
after hole 16 players walk back across
golf hole 7's fairway to the 17th tee pad. over path right is OB. this
hole requires good placement off the tee and a low, accurate second shot.
the hole runs towards golf hole 7's green and then takes a 45 degree dogleg left
towards the water.
hole 18 - 380/250/250 ft. - par 3
hole 18 at the plantation
is a classic finishing hole. tee from the path by golf hole 8's red tee
area. swamp area
between the rock lines that will snare drives deflected by trees is OB. (drop
area for OB shots in rocked area is through woods, left of green.)
this left-to-right shot needs 335 ft. to carry the bunker.
